Preferred Mediums: watercolor,
oils, collage, prisma pencils
Ken has been an art instructor
in Nebraska for the past thirty-three years. He has won numerous
awards for his watercolors, oils, and other media, including an acceptance
into the permanent collection of the Museum of Nebraska Art at Kearney.
Being raised both on a Nebraska cattle ranch in the Sandhils and in Southern
California, has given Ken's subject matter a unique dual character of both
rural and urban landscapes. Sunlight knifing through buildings and
trees is one of his favorite subjects. Ken holds a BA degree from
the University of Nebraska at Kearney in Art Education and History. |
