Prairie Winds Art Center first opened its doors in 1997 after undergoing a restoration, and is located in the heart of an historic district in downtown Grand Island, Nebraska, which will soon be undergoing an "Old Towne" unique development during the next few years. |

To become a member of Prairie Winds, , an artist must be a Midwest artist, and submit a portfolio of works that will be judged by current members.
