Dee's work is exhibited throughout the Midwest.  She has won numerous awards for her landscape and floral watercolors.  Her work has been selected for the private collections at the Museum of Ne. Art, Ne. Wesleyan University, University of Ne. at Kearney, University of Ne. at Lincoln and many private collections.  She was an art teacher in the Grand Island Public schools for 25 years,  at Central Community College of Grand Island, and presently teaches workshops and private lessons.  Her love of watercolor has evolved from her life experiences.  Some see nature's growth above and below the ground in her works, evoking a feeling of spirituality and a connection with nature's beauty.  Dee lives and works in Grand Island, Nebraska.
